Sales Operations Specialist  
Inside Sales | Burlington, MA


The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for assisting outside reps with quoting and proposal development, processing orders, and securing business. The position is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who has strong communication skills and strong inside sales experience. This position reports to the Manager of Inside Sales                                                                           

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sales Operations
    • Processing Orders
    • End of Quarter Activities
    • Scheduling Deliveries
    • Assist Purchasing
  • Sales Support
    • Quoting (Hardware, Software, Subscriptions and Services)
    • Opportunity Registrations
    • Customer Satisfaction Issues
    • Forecast updates
  • Sales/Marketing
    • Marketing Campaigns
    • Track Sales Leads and Provide Status Reports
    • Co-op/MDF
    • Training
    • Events
  • Reporting/Tracking for above
  • Projects as Assigned
Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate 2 or 4-Year Degree, plus a minimum of three years sales experience in a high technology field. Must have demonstrated excellent computer and communication skills, and interfacing in a professional manner with customers.

Experience:

  • Candidates should have a minimum of three years of business-to-business sales experience, preferably in a high-tech environment and/or Internet technology environment.
  • Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication skills, highly confident and goal oriented. Knowledge of data center architecture, cloud storage, technology, and/or IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with CRM, SFA and quoting Software
