Wolf & Company Issues Renewal Report on Controls over
Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality and Privacy
Lexington, MA, January 7, 2016 – Daymark Solutions, a leading provider of information technology solutions, announced that it has undergone a Service Organization Control 2 SM (SOC) 2 examination. The examination and final report concluded that that the management at Daymark maintained effective controls over the availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy for all of its Managed Services offerings. The SOC 2 examination was performed by Wolf & Company, P.C. of Boston, MA.
A SOC 2 SM report is designed to meet the needs of existing or potential customers who need assurance about the effectiveness of controls at a service organization that are relevant to the security, availability, or processing integrity of the system used by the service organization to process customer’s information or the confidentiality or privacy of that information. This validation covers all of Daymark Managed Services including Data Protection Services (DPS), StorageStream Reporting as a Service (RaaS), Backup as a Service (BaaS), Storage as a Service (SaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
"We are pleased that our SOC 2SM report has shown that we have the appropriate controls in place to mitigate risks related to security and availability,” said Bruce Hall, Director of Managed Services at Daymark. “Daymark prides itself on our long history of implementing best of breed solutions for our customers. We have continued this heritage with all aspects of our Managed and Cloud Services and take security and availability very seriously. Our renewal of our SOC 2 validation, that was completed for the second consecutive year without a single finding, demonstrates our commitment to the privacy and protection of our customers’ data.”
